White Beach, Boracay

White Beach in Boracay is the the most famous beach in the Philippines. Think unbelievably soft sand and clear water stretching on for 2.5 miles! This beach offers a ton of amenities, like water sports, scuba diving, and island hopping tours. Take a paraw traditional wooden sailboat tour for tremendous sunset views. There’s also great dining and nightlife right on the beach. Needless to say, this beach is hopping from dawn to dusk and beyond!

Nacpan Beach, El Nido

For a quieter experience, choose Nacpan Beach which is about 45 minutes from the town of El Nido. This 2.5 mile stretch of golden sand and clear waters offers plenty of space for visitors to stretch out and relax. The water in this area is shallow and calmer than at other beaches in the Philippines, so it’s great for swimming. But you won’t get too bored. There are opportunities for water sports, beachside massages, hiking, beach volleyball, and lively restaurants and bars.

Coron’s Hidden Beaches

Coron is best for island hopping, with some of its best beaches hiding away in small coves. They are only accessible by boat, which makes getting there feel like part of the experience. The water is so clear that everything looks brighter, and some of the smaller beaches feel almost too perfect to be real.

Top hidden spots include the tranquil Banol Beach, pristine Malcapuya Island, and the intimate Beach 91, offering serene, crowd-free alternatives to mainstream tourist sites.

Alona Beach, Bohol

Alona Beach is a very popular option with Asian tourists. This is due to it’s white powdery sand beaches and clear calm water as well as it’s proximity to a nearby airport. It can be very crowded at times, but this also means there is a plethora of resorts, restaurants, dive shops, and everything you might need nearby.

Diving and snorkeling are popular here, as are other water activities. You can also take island hopping and dolphin watching tours. This area is also a great place to base yourself if you want to see more nature in the Philippines. The  Chocolate Hills are nearby, as is Hinagdanan Cave.

Siargao’s Beaches

Siargao Island is known as the surfing capitol of the Philippines. Even if you don’t surf, it’s fun to watch others catching waves at Cloud 9 Surfing Tower. But if you want to give it a go, there are surf schools that will give you a lesson. Another activity on the island is visiting the tidal pools at Magpupungko Beach. You can also take a boat ride to Naked Island, Daku Island, and Guyam Island, where you can snorkel in clear water and relax on the beach. The beaches in this area feel very laid-back and you will love the slow island pace.

Saud Beach, Pagudpud

The last recommendation in our list of beaches in the Philippines is Saud Beach in Pagudpud. This beach is less well known, so it is great for people who are looking for rest and relaxation. Yet it’s still as beautiful as the more popular beaches. It’s great for swimming, water sports, snorkeling, and sunrise and sunset views. Nearby, you can visit manmade and nature wonders such as the Bangui Windmills, the Patapat Viaduct, Kabigan Falls, and Bantay Abot Cave.
